Bat House Workshop – Craft Night at The Glitter Guy

Grab a friend and join us for a chill night of crafting! You'll build your own wooden bat house from start to finish: assemble it, paint it, and decorate it. Then take it home to hang in your yard. Your local bats will thank you, and so will your mosquito bites.
What you'll do:
- Assemble your bat house from precut wood pieces. We'll walk you through every step.
- Paint it any color you like
- Add a bat design using the stencils we provide, in a fun contrasting color
- Learn where and how to hang it so bats actually move in
What's included:
- All the precut pieces to build your bat house
- All tools provided
- All paint, brushes, and stencils
- Step-by-step help the whole night. No building or crafting experience needed!
The vibe:
This is laid-back craft time, not a class with homework. BYOB (21+ to drink, no liquor), and feel free to bring a snack to share. Come hang out, get creative, and maybe make some new friends.
Why build a bat house?
One bat can eat thousands of bugs in a single night. New Jersey's bats have lost millions of their numbers to disease and habitat loss, and a bat house gives them a safe place to roost and raise their young.
